Ленинград. Февраль 1989 года. Приезд в СССР рок-звезды Yngwie Malmsteen. По итогам 10 выступлений (что очень много) в Ленинграде, а это происходило в дворце недалеко от метро "Парк Победы", был выпущен "живой" альбом "Live in Leningrad". Я был в тот момент в армии, а то обязательно поехал бы в Питер - знакомые "балочники" ездили на этот концерт. Кажется это был первый приезд в СССР рок-звезд из высшей лиги. Этот шведско-американский рок-гитарист и его группа стали широко известны в СССР совсем недавно, в году 1987-м. В Перестройку фирма "Мелодия" даже выпустила пластинку с его альбомом 1986 года. Сейчас возле этого дворца проводятся выставки западной трофейной техники - такая вот историческая эволюция.
