Глава МИД России Сергей Лавров встретился в Анкаре с министром иностранных дел Турции Хаканом Фиданом.
Об этом сообщает МИД России. Лавров прибыл в Анкару 23 февраля. В ходе встречи с Фиданом он обсудил, среди прочего, результаты консультаций, проведенных в Саудовской Аравии между РФ и США. Турецкая сторона выразила готовность принять саммит по урегулированию российско-украинского конфликта с участием США, России и Украины.
Обсуждался также переговорный процесс по Сирии. Визит Лаврова состоялся на фоне стремления Москвы наладить связи с новыми властями в Дамаске, поскольку Турция имеет более тесные связи с сирийской стороной после отставки Башара Асада.
