به گفته هرتزوگ، حکومت #ایران آشکارا برای از بین بردن اسرائیل تلاش می‌کند و سال‌ها است در پی تولید جنگ‌افزار هسته‌ای است. او تصریح کرد که جهانیان نباید چشمان خود را بر روی تهدید جمهوری اسلامی و گروه‌های نیابتی آن ببندند.
رئیس‌جمهور اسرائیل افزود، جهان باید شانه به شانه در کنار اسرائیل علیه یهودستیزی و تروریسم مبارزه کند. به گفته او، اسرائیل به مبارزه خود در راستای حق تعیین سرنوشت یهودیان در سرزمین باستانی یهودیان ادامه خواهد داد.
