В честь юбилея учреждени начнет масштабный капитальный ремонт, который не проводился более 40 лет. На обновление филармонии из областного бюджета выделено 1,1 млрд рублей. В настоящее время ведется подготовка к конкурсным процедурам для выбора подрядчика. Работы рассчитаны на три года.
После завершения реконструкции здание будет полностью соответствовать современным стандартам, включая требования доступности для людей с ограниченными возможностями.
