При моём глубоком уважении к С. Деану, каждый раз, когда слушаю его большие лекции, мне становится скучно, потому что он просто рассказывает все современные исследования на тему, не объединяя их какой-то общей идеей.
Возможно, так и надо делать настоящему учёному (не измышлять гипотез, то есть), но по-моему, это всё слушать очень скучно и непонятно, что с этой горой информации делать.
Такое же впечатление у меня от книги “How we learn” (издавалась на русском).

Update March 8, 2022: EFF has clarified that Channels and Groups are not fully encrypted, end-to-end, updated our post to link to Telegram’s FAQ for Cloud and Secret chats, updated to clarify that auto-delete is available for group and channel admins, and added some additional links. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 230 points, or 0.7%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events."
