Недавно Тихвинский музей посетили специалисты Международного центра реставрации. Они осмотрели иконы основной экспозиции и провели работы по укреплению живописи прямо на месте.
Для этого эксперты использовали профилактические заклейки. Они фиксируются специальным клеем и тонируются обычной акварелью, которую разрешено использовать в реставрации.
Задача бумажных заклеек - удерживать живописный слой на экспонате до его поступления в реставрационную мастерскую. Благодаря тонировке, они не выделяются на общем фоне. Иконы сохраняют свой экспозиционный вид.

And I think Jay Powell is a very tepid sort of inflation fighter and he's not going to do as much as he needs to do to get that under control. And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon."
