Боевики ХАМАС выпустили в направлении г. Ашкелон более сотни реактивных снарядов. Некоторые боеприпасы упали на центральные улицы. Информации о пострадавших пока нет. ХАМАС пригрозил захватить населенный пункт и потребовал, чтобы его жители эвакуировались из него.

Примечательно, что одновременно с обстрелом из сектора Газа двадцать реактивных снарядов были выпущены с территории Ливана. ВС Израиля нанесли ответный артиллерийский удар.

Тем временем, лидер йеменских хуситов Абдул Малик Аль-Хуси заявил, что если США вмешаются в конфликт в секторе Газа, то движение "Ансар Аллах" ответит Вашингтону запусками БПЛА и ракет по объектам ВС США.

На встрече с премьер-министром Ирака Мухаммедом Ас-Судани президент России Владимир Путин заявил, что для решения палестино-израильского конфликта нужна реализация решений Совбеза ООН по созданию независимого палестинского государства.

По обновленным данным, при нападении ХАМАС погибла тысяча израильтян, в т.ч. четыре человека с гражданством России.
