Волдеморт-то ведь завелся у них прежде всего ОТ СКУКИ бесконечной. Странно что он у них один такой, Роулинг наверное тему еще смягчила, вполне может быть что после Хогвардса там каждый второй - Волдеморт.
Ну а что еще делать? Экономики фактически нет, наука - фактически под запретом, нужно освоить и поддерживать то, что уже есть. Глобальные проблемы человечества - да похрен на них. Искусство - нет его. Только магия, и у кого ее больше, у кого ее меньше, кто может ее контролировать лучше, кто хуже. Ну в этих условиях совершенно естественно, что люди сходят с ума.
