Курорт является частью проекта NEOM – футуристического мегапроекта строительства экологичного города на северо-западе Саудовской Аравии.

В рамках курорта предполагается круглогодичный центр горнолыжного спорта, искусственное озеро и уникальная «вертикальная» деревня

Горнолыжная деревня будет представлять собой не разбросанные по территории шале, отели и рестораны, а гигантскую многоуровневую структуру, в которой все связи будут выстроены вертикально.
