Форум пройдет в два этапа. I этап (онлайн) — с февраля по май 2025 года. После жеребьевки каждый регион представит экологический проект в своей номинации. На этом этапе будет сформированы команды из 89 регионов России.
II этап (очный) — 14-15 октября 2025 года. По итогам испытаний участие в нем примет 51 команда. Победителей выберут в 17 номинациях.
По традиции, второй этап Форума пройдет в Челябинске, который в третий раз становится настоящим домом для всех участников ДЭФ.
