Сообщается, что в тюрьме Сейдная обнаружили груды обуви и одежды. Видимо, она принадлежала казнённым режимом Асадов.

К слову, беглые нацисты помогали сирийским спецслужбам ещё в 1950-60-х (до Асадов). Среди них были Franz Stangl, комендант лагеря уничтожения Треблинка, а также Алоис Бруннер – человек номер два в Гестапо.

В годы Второй мировой войны Бруннер занимался «еврейским вопросом», а с конца 1950-х обучал сирийские спецслужбы нацистским методам пыток. Он даже просил своих сирийских нанимателей вызволить Адольфа Эйхмана, похищенного Моссадом из Аргентины. Но те вежливо отказали.

Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. "There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices.
