Last Update:
also a bit of my thoughts on shooting film for those interested:
the last film roll was fujicolor c200, while the first roll was shot on regular, classic, rather cold, kodak gold film (as evident by the "scans" i published just before).
i really like the colours, how soft it is (especially combined with the helios lens), but its not a stock i'd go for when i would want consistency in my shots. it's really moody and creative, but the magentas/greens as well as the overall temperature of the shot are really-really-REALLY dependent on the exposure. i'm glad i went with my hunch when shooting initially and took a few shots of one given scene with different apertures and shutter speeds, because in direct comparison, essentially the same images come out vastly different.
i'll also post the more or less direct comparisons of the colour shift that i'm talking about, when all of the posts i have scheduled right now will be out!
P.S. — also, as i'm a broke student, don't expect me shooting film forever (i have a roll of ilford HP5 plus in the fridge and will also order a few *interesting* stocks off amazon). it's quite a hit on my wallet as it is, and especially so with how much im having with it :p
