В данных за 2 марта имеется усиление межпланетных мерцаний в дневные часы внутри орбиты Земли. Наблюдаемое усиление может быть связано с крупномасштабные возмущениями солнечного ветра. Хоть за последние трое суток сильных солнечных вспышек не происходило, иногда корональные выбросы массы возникают и без вспышек. Усиление мерцаний в данных за 2 марта может быть связано с таким выбросом. Этот выброс может прийти на Землю 3 марта и вызвать магнитную бурю.
