کتاب حاضر با رویکردی جدید در مطالعات ژئوپلیتیک و منطقهای در قالب سه مفهوم قلمروخواهی،کشمکش و کمیابی تلاش میکند تا مهمترین مسائل راهبردی در پیرامون ایران را بررسی کند. مسائل راهبردی پیرامون ایران تنها به رابطه با همسایگان بهواسطه همسایگی و پیوند جغرافیایی مرتبط نیست، بلکه مناطق مختلف پیرامون و نقش قدرتهای فرامنطقهای و بینالمللی نیز در شکلگیری این مسائل تأثیرگذار است. با این نگاه نخست تلاش شده تا نشان داده شود که ایران از ویژگیهای راهبردی منحصربهفردی برخوردار است که برای مدیریت مسائل راهبردی پیرامونی باید از آنها بهرهمند شود. سپس در قالب سه مفهوم کلیدی جغرافیای امنیتی رابطه ایران با مناطق پیرامونی در چهار جهت جغرافیایی بررسی شده‌است.

Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform.
