сделали глубокий ров вдоль моря, на песок положили сетку.

думаю, это для того, чтобы во время волн/шторма, мазут не попадал на очищенный песок.

что я заметила:
что слой песка, где делали ров - чистый. То есть нет слоеного пирога из мазута и песка. Это радует.

что безгранично радует:
я видела семью дельфинов в море!
видела тысячи птиц, которые ловили рыбу.
