Институт был построен в 1929 году по проекту Алексея Викторовича Щусева в стиле конструктивизма. За всё время своего существования санаторий поменял несколько названий. Изначально, задуманный в виде отеля-санатория, комплекс именовался просто — санаторий №7. В 1959 году институт получает имя знакомое многим сочинцам — Сочинский научно-исследовательский институт курортологии и физиотерапии.
В конце девяностых институт был опять реорганизован в Научно-исследовательский центр курортологии и реабилитации.
У здания с июля 2019 новый владелец, вроде как даже что-то пытаются с ним сделать.

Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said. These administrators had built substantial positions in these scrips prior to the circulation of recommendations and offloaded their positions subsequent to rise in price of these scrips, making significant profits at the expense of unsuspecting investors, Sebi noted.
