آتش‌بس و توقف جنگ ۱۵ ماهه در نوار غزه قرار است از ساعت هشت و نیم صبح یکشنبه به وقت محلی آغاز شود و سه گروگان اسرائیلی و بیش از ۹۰ زندانی فلسطینی نیز عصر یکشنبه آزاد خواهند شد.
نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل روز شنبه ۲۹ دی‌ماه، در پیامی خطاب به شهروندان اسرائیلی، با تاکید بر سه اصل اساسی توافق شامل حفظ توانایی بازگشت به جنگ، افزایش تعداد گروگان‌های زنده در مراحل اولیه آزادی و تضمین کنترل کامل اسرائیل بر گذرگاه فیلادلفی و مناطق حائل امنیتی غزه تصریح کرد: «ما اجازه نخواهیم داد تسلیحات به غزه قاچاق شود و گروگان‌ها به بیرون از این منطقه منتقل شوند.»

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces "destroy the invaders wherever we can."
