Таким образом, расходы на армию в России превышают общеевропейские. Как прогнозирует IISS, в текущем 2025 году российские оборонные расходы увеличатся еще на 13,7%, достигнув 15,6 триллиона рублей. Это составит 7,5% ВВП страны и почти 40% федерального бюджета.
