63-летний Абакар Алиев, водитель по профессии, 23 июня готовил шашлыки вместе с родными, когда услышал звуки стрельбы. Вместе с зятем – сотрудником ГАИ – мужчина противостоял боевикам. Зять стрелял из табельного оружия. Абакар Алиев взял автомат убитого полицейского и, заменив его собой, отстреливался и защищал прохожих и церковь от нападения.
