Бэгзийн Явуухулан (1929-1982) – монгольский поэт, родился в семье охотника в Жаргаланте.
Окончил финансово-экономический техникум и работал бухгалтером, затем перешёл на работу в молодёжную газету и журнал «Цог» («Огонёк»). В 1959 году окончил Литературный институт имени А.М. Горького.
Бэгзийн Явуухулан известен как поэт-лирик, он также осваивал экзотический для монгольской поэзии японский жанр хайку. Он переводил на монгольский язык произведения русских поэтов, в частности Сергея Есенина, оказал значительное влияние на монгольскую литературу и был учителем поэта Г. Менд Ооёо.
К его основным сочинениям относятся: «Наше желание» (1954), «Под серебряной луной» (1955), «Полуденное небо» (1975), «Серебряное утро осени» (сборник стихов и поэм). Представил в русском переводе такие стихи как: «Лирика» (1960), «Стихи» (1971), «Монгольская поэзия» (1985).
В честь поэта в в Улане-Баторе был установлен памятник.
