Постановлением Таганского районного суда города Москвы Telegram Messenger Inc.признано виновным в совершении административного правонарушения, предусмотренного ч .2 ст. 13.41 КоАП РФ (Нарушение порядка ограничения доступа к информации, информационным ресурсам, доступ к которым подлежит ограничению в соответствии с законодательством Российской Федерации об информации, информационных технологиях и о защите информации, и (или) порядка удаления указанной информации), иназначено административное наказание в виде административного штрафа в размере 3,5 млн рублей.
