Всероссийское общество охраны памятников истории и культуры (ВООПИиК) приняло решение приостановить деятельность петербургского отделения.
Напомним, что благодаря деятельности ВООПИиК в Петербурге выдывал разрешения на производство строительных работ для «своих» реставраторов и застройщиков. В схему борьбы за исторический центр были включены руководители КГА и КГИОП, Художественная академия им. Штиглица, Союз реставраторов России, депутаты и руководство Законодательного собрания.
