В Южной Корее потерпел крушение пассажирский самолет Jeju Air Flight 2216, который выполнял рейс из Бангкока и заходил на посадку в аэропорту уезда Муан. При приземлении у Boeing 737-800 загорелся двигатель, самолет врезался в ограждение взлетно-посадочной полосы и загорелся. На борту было 175 пассажиров и 6 членов экипажа. По предварительной информации, россиян в самолете не было. По данным СМИ, в первый час после катастрофы удалось установить факт гибели как минимум 47 человек. Троих удалось спасти. Спасательные работы продолжаются
