Вчора #приїхала новинка від Комори - художня книжка про сіамських близнючок, і я на добрі пів години залипла в Гуглі, щоб подивитися, якими вони бувають і як живуть. Це щось дивовижне - як по дві людини користуються одним тілом, або його частинами (деякі, наприклад, об'єднані головами і мають частину спільного мозку) 😯

Книжка написана в формі двох щоденників двох таких дівчат, які живуть в одному тілі. І також є вставки про життя їхнього, наскільки я розумію, батька. Трохи сюрреалістична книжка і з трохи депресивним настроєм. Але має прочитатися швидко - бо тут 170 сторінок, ~~не те що у Шевчука)~~

Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
