Жилье в 2022 году получили 532 южносахалинца, это 201 квартира. Еще три семьи получат ключи до конца года. Районы, где находятся новые здания, благоустроены, рядом с домами имеется вся социальная инфраструктура: детские сады, школы, поликлиника.
Отметим, на сегодняшний день в муниципалитете действуют несколько механизмов реализации программы переселения жителей: строительство социального жилья, приобретение квартир на вторичном и первичном рынках, возмещение средств за изымаемые квартиры в аварийных домах.
