Журналісти проєкту розслідувань Радіо Свобода «Схеми» разом з NRK (Норвегія) встановили, що велика норвезька компанія-виробник автомобільних запчастин Kongsberg Automotive з 2022 року продала своєї продукції на 2,7 мільйона євро турецькій фірмі Hidirusta Otomotiv, яка, попри санкції ЄС, перепродала ці деталі в Росію. Отримувач — фірми, повʼязані з оборонним сектором РФ.
🛑Згідно з даними митниці РФ, які дослідили журналісти — із липня 2022 року по квітень 2024 року Hidirusta Otomotiv здійснила понад 100 поставок підсанкційних деталей виробництва Kongsberg Automotive до РФ, а до 2022 ця турецька компанія з Росією не торгувала взагалі. Російські компанії, «А.П.Р.» та «Грузавтозапчасть-36», які купували норвезькі деталі для вантажівок в турецької Hidirusta Otomotiv, своєю чергою пов’язані з оборонним сектором РФ.
🛑Kongsberg Automotive на звернення журналістів повідомили, що зупинили всі прямі поставки до Росії ще у 2022 році, але не контролюють подальший перепродаж своїх запчастин після реалізації. У Kongsberg Automotive визнали, що мали краще перевірити Hidirusta Otomotiv перед веденням з нею бізнесу. Після знахідок журналістів Kongsberg Automotive розірвала співпрацю з Hidirusta Otomotiv та запровадила нові, посилені заходи перевірки своїх клієнтів. Hidirusta Otomotiv та її російські клієнти «А.П.Р.» та «Грузавтозапчасть-36» на запити журналістів не відповіли.

Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications.
