Ноговицын написал, что на него собираются составить протокол по «митинговой» статье из-за того, что «якобы люди не имели право передвигаться по скверу Гагарина». Он также уточнил, что заявление написал мэр Якутска Евгений Григорьев.
На митинг собрались около 30 человек. В ходе мероприятия они символически прошли по территории сквера и вернулись к стелле, у которой проходили выступления.
