Мероприятие непосредственно связано с выпуском полного собрания работ Отомо в двух дюжинах томов. На выставке покажут редкую пленку, найденную режиссером дома. В начале мая Отомо писал в соцсетях: «Я искал раскадровки и нашел много прозрачной разрисованной пленки с производства “Акиры”. Кадры довольно красивые, поэтому я решил поделиться ими с вами».
