В центре внимания окажется Раджер — воображаемый друг девочки Аманды, который живет у нее в гардеробе. Девочка, к сожалению, попадает в аварию, и Раджеру приходится перебраться в библиотеку, где есть не только дети, но и высокий уровень их фантазии, что позволяет существовать воображаемым друзьям. На беду, Раджера видит не только Аманда, но и мистер Бантинг — странный старик в гавайской рубашке, который, по слухам, питается такими, как выдуманный мальчик.
Для Ponoc это вторая полнометражка после «Мэри и ведьминого цветка». Режиссером на этот раз выступает Ёсиюки Момосэ («Вторая страна», «Завтрашние листья»). Изначально «Чердак Раджера» хотели выпустить еще летом 2022-го, но позже премьеру пришлось перенести из-за ряда производственных сложностей. В Японии фильм поступит в прокат 15 декабря, про мировые даты пока неизвестно.
