В деревне Малая Белозёрка Васильевского района встретился с племянницей Героя Советского Союза Федора Харченко. Он погиб, освобождая Новгород зимой 1944 года.

Любовь Самойленко занимается сохранением памяти о прославленном воине. Ей помогает невестка Елена. В школе Малой Белозерки есть музей, почетное место в нем занимает и экспозиция о герое.

Вручил женщинам юбилейные медали в честь освобождения Новгорода, а также копии фрагментов фрески, найденные во время войны Федором Харченко.

А с собой взял материалы о герое - письма, фотографии, газетные вырезки. Передадим их в музей СВО, он открывается сегодня, в годовщину освобождения Новгорода от фашистов.
