В предыдущие годы он работал на различных руководящих позициях в АО «Озенмунайгаз», АО «Мангистаумунайгаз» и ТОО «Казахтуркмунай».
С 2018 г. он работал замдиректора департамента, директором департамента добычи нефти и газа АО НК «КазМунайГаз», заместителем гендиректора по производству АО «Эмбамунайгаз».
