🔸تحقیقات رادیوفردا نشان می‌دهد دو سال پس از سرکوب شدید اعتراضات #زن_زندگی_آزادی در ایران، منابع مالی فرماندهی انتظامی جمهوری اسلامی به بالاترین میزان خود در یک دهۀ گذشته رسیده است. بر اساس بودجۀ امسال کل کشور، دولت پیشین حدود ۱۱۸ هزار میلیارد تومان از منابع عمومی را به نیروهای انتظامی اختصاص داده؛ این مبلغ حدود ۱.۵ برابر بودجه‌ای است که پارسال در اختیار پلیس ایران قرار گرفت.

🔸بنا بر محاسبات گروه داده‌کاوی رادیوفردا، با در نظر گرفتن نرخ #تورم در سال ۱۴۰۳ منابع مالی #فرماندهی_انتظامی کل کشور (فراجا) به نسبت میانگین ۱۰ سال گذشته، حدود ۲۰ درصد افزایش داشته است.

🔸بودجۀ ۱۴۰۳ که فرآیند تدوین آن از اواخر تابستان ۱۴۰۲ و در زمان ریاست‌جمهوری ابراهیم رئیسی آغاز شد، اولین بودجۀ کل کشور است که پس از جان باختن #مهسا_ژینا_امینی در بازداشت گشت ارشاد و سرکوب اعتراضات ۱۴۰۱ تهیه و تصویب شده است.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows.
