По информации прокуратуры Москвы, фитнес-блогер Чекалина, она же известная как Лерчек, обвиняется в уклонении от уплаты НДС и НДФЛ на общую сумму более 311 млн руб при пособничестве ее мужа Артема Чекалина. На данный момент семейная пара отпущена под подписку о невыезде.
Ранее в их доме прошел обыск — блогеров обвинили в использовании упрощенной системе налогообложения с допустимым лимитом доходов в 150 млн руб в год. Если вину Чекалиных докажут, то вместо пентхауса с фитнес-дорожками они отправятся за решетку минимум на три года.

The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp. "There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices.
