В прошлом году УКВЗ произвел 160 трамвайных вагонов, что на 52% выше результата-2023. Также завод выпустил две новые трехсекционные модели: односторонний трамвай 71-639 «Кастор» для Екатеринбурга и двухсторонний 71-638-02 «Поларис» для Санкт-Петербурга. Как сообщил «Россия 24» заместитель главного конструктора предприятия Константин Караев, обе модели созданы на базе односекционных четырехосных вагонов 71-628. Кроме того, УКВЗ сейчас работает над созданием пятисекционного трамвая 71-665.

Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments.
