Nach Autobahn-Blockade in #Österreich: Klimakleber verlieren vor Gericht

Zwölf Aktivisten der „Letzten Generation“ hatten sich am 18. Mai 2024, auf den Asphalt der Tauernautobahn bei Hallein (Salzburg) geklebt. Dafür sollten sie jeweils 70€ Strafe zahlen. Dagegen legten die Aktivisten Beschwerde beim Landesverwaltungsgericht ein und argumentierten mit einer „Notstandssituation“: Die #Protestaktion sei für sie einzige Möglichkeit gewesen, auf die Klimaproblematik aufmerksam zu machen.

Das Gericht stellte nun hingegen „erhebliche negative wirtschaftliche“ Auswirkungen fest. Daher sei die Geldstrafe (70 von maximal möglichen 720€) gerechtfertigt.
