Также были убиты неизвестными три члена семьи Шелоум за то что один из них был офицером Республиканской гвардии.
Данных о том имеют ли новые сирийские власти отношение к этим убийствам нет. Однако любые убийства и внесудебные расправы заставляют сомневаться в способности новых властей обеспечить законность и равную безопасность для всех сирийцев.
