По данному факту следственными органами СК России по Московской области расследуется уголовное дело, возбужденное по признакам преступления, предусмотренного ст. 213 УК РФ (хулиганство).
А.И. Бастрыкин поручил и.о. руководителя ГСУ СК России по Московской области Я.А. Яковлеву представить доклад о ходе расследования уголовного дела и установленных обстоятельствах. Исполнение поручения поставлено на контроль в центральном аппарате ведомства.

Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today."
