Бутырский районный суд Москвы приговорил сегодня журналиста RusNews Игоря Кузнецова из Томска к 6 годам колонии, ему запретили вести деятельность в соцсетях на 2 года. Его и еще 10 фигурантов обвинили в «склонении к массовым беспорядкам», которых не было. Ранее гособвинение запросило ему 9 лет колонии.
Журналист RusNews Игорь Кузнецов находится в СИЗО с 16 сентября 2021 года.

He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said.
