В Республике Алтай ввели режим повышенной готовности после мощного землетрясения магнитудой 6,4

Об этом заявил глава региона Андрей Турчак:

«В Кош-Агачском и Улаганском районах сегодня отменены занятия в школах и массовые мероприятия. В четырех селах Кош-Агачского района возможны проблемы с водоснабжением».

Эпицентр был расположен в 1,3 км от села Бельтир.

В результате землетрясение пострадала внутренняя штукатурка школы в селе Кош-Агач.
Оно также привело к кратковременному отключению электроэнергии в части села.
