В прошлом году РЖД открыли новый Байкальский тоннель на перегоне Дельбичинда – Дабан. Участок железной дороги протяжённостью 6682 м соединяет Иркутскую область и Республику Бурятия. В этом году тоже идут масштабные работы. Так, Правительством Бурятии выделен участок земли для строительства разъезда на Чуро-Кюхельбекерском перегоне, который позволит увеличить пропускную способность перегона с 36 до 53 пар поездов.
Это актуально для дальнейшего развития нашей республики. У нас сейчас осваиваются новые месторождения - Озерное, Эгитинское; продолжается разработка Тугнуйского и Никольского месторождения угля, проектируется освоение Наранского месторождения. Необходимо улучшать транспортную связь с другими частями страны, делать ее более оперативной и доступной. Здорово, что даже в непростых условиях, работа по развитию БАМа продолжается!
