Новая инфраструктура построена с учетом сложнейших климатических условий: зимой грунт промерзает, а летом подтапливается.
Чтобы обезопасить железную дорогу, строители возвели 3 моста и проложили 8 водопропускных труб.
Всего в ходе работ уложили 10,8 км пути и 3 стрелочных перевода, протянули 54 км линий автоблокировки и связи.
Завершение модернизации линии Лена – Таксимо, на которой находится перегон Ния – Таковка, повысит её провозную способность к концу 2024 года до 51,2 млн тонн.
