С 2020 года филиалы ГЦСИ вошли в состав ГМИИ им. А.С. Пушкина.
Большую часть жизни Леонид Александрович посвятил изучению и продвижению отечественного современного искусства на родине и за границей.
Его проницательный ум и глубокие знания, сочетавшиеся с безупречной строгостью и точностью, делали его не только выдающимся профессионалом, но и человеком редкого обаяния. Леонид Александрович был чутким, остроумным, терпеливым и элегантным, оставаясь для многих учителем, наставником и другом. Его память будет вдохновлять и восхищать ещё долгое время.
