Вечером 28 октября загорелось здание администрации Мегиона. Местные спасатели сообщили о серии поджогов и пожаре на стоянке машин МВД. По данным канала Baza, женщина пыталась поджечь три полицейских автомобиля.

Также она кинула в окно мэрии «коктейль Молотова». Ее задержали и доставили в отдел полиции. После задержания женщина рассказала, что действовала по указке мошенников.
