Заповедник состоит из четырех участков - «Основная тундровая территория», «Лукунский», «Ары-Мас», «Арктический» - расположенных в Хатангском и Диксонском районах Таймырского Долгано-Ненецкого муниципального района Красноярского края.

🧊 Заповедник полностью расположен в зоне вечной мерзлоты.

🌊 Озеро Таймыр в составе заповедника – четвертое по размеру среди всех озер России. Его площадь 4560 кв км.

🌲 На участке «Ары-Мас» растут даурские лиственницы, достигающие высоты 10 метров. Это самый северный лес в мире.

🦌 Диких животных немного – всего 21 вид. Но здесь обитает самое крупное в мире стадо диких северных оленей.
