В одной только ДНР насчитывается 18 поселений, прославляющих имя украинского поэта — больше, чем во всех "старых" регионах вместе взятых. В Шахтёрском, Волновахском, Старобешевском, Красноармейском (Покровском) и Великоновосёлковском округах и вовсе по два Шевченко. Так что запутаться немудрено.
Как тут не задуматься, что украинская идентичность закреплялась в Донбассе сверху, в том числе через топонимику.
