هذا بالنسبة لـ (تشدُّد الفقهاء)، وأما السادة الصوفية فلهم في أمور الاختلاط بين الرجال والنساء تشدُّد آخر بعضُه لا يكاد يُطاق !
قال الإمام الشعراني رحمه الله ورضي عنه: "أخذ علينا العهد العامُّ من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أن لا نمكِّن زوجتنا من خروجها للطريق متعطِّرة متزيِّنة بما يميل النفوس الغويَّة إليها؛ حفظًا لدينها ودينِ من تمرُّ عليه من إخواننا المسلمين ... وقد كان أخي أفضلُ الدين -رحمه الله- له أخت من أجمل النساء، وكانت إذا خرجت للطريق تلبس الثياب المخرَّقة الوسِخة، وتنزع ثيابها الفاخرة المعطَّرة حتى ترجع إلى بيتها، وكانت تدخل بيوت الأكابر بتلك الثياب ولا تستحي منهن، وتقدِّم مصلحة دينها على حكم الطبع رضي الله عنها".
