В Коврове задержан министр архитектуры и строительства региона Александр Батурин. Его подозревают в растрате бюджетных средств на прошлом месте работы — в департаменте строительства Ивановской области.
По версии следствия, Батурин подписал акт выполненных работ по разработке проекта капитального ремонта здания кинотеатра «Современник» в Иванове. Подрядчик получил деньги, хотя де-факто не исполнил контракт.
Александр Батурин возглавил минстрой Владимирской области 27 марта 2023 года. На эту должность его пригласил губернатор Александр Авдеев.
