В школе № 21 станицы Роговской в канун Дня знаний открыли универсальный спортивный зал.
Здание школы, где обучается всего 186 ребят из станицы и близлежащих хуторов, построено в 1910, а сама школа образована еще раньше – в 1898 году! И все это время дети занимались физкультурой в помещении длиной 13 метров и шириной 8 метров с высотой потолков 3 метра — больше похожем на кабинет, чем на место, где можно провести полноценный урок физкультуры.
Новое здание больше можно назвать спортивным комплексом – в нем разместился непосредственно спортзал площадью 300 квадратных метров, а также раздевалки, душевые и санузлы. Спортзал построен в рамках краевой программы «Социально-экономическое и инновационное развитие Краснодарского края».
В новом зале на уроках и секциях школьники смогут заниматься игровыми видами спорта, гимнастикой, легкой атлетикой.
