В Австрии спустя 151 день после сентябрьских выборов наконец-то удалось собрать правящую коалицию. В нее вошли консервативная Народная партия (ÖVP), социал-демократы (SPÖ) и либеральная партия Neos.
Ультраправая и пророссийская Партия свободы (FPÖ), получившая больше всех голосов на выборах, осталась за бортом.
Период переговоров о создании коалиции оказался самым долгим в послевоенной истории Австрии.
