С 1 апреля 2025 года Trenitalia, итальянский оператор высокоскоростных поездов, возобновляет этот маршрут после длительного перерыва, вызванного оползнем в Альпах в августе 2023 года. Билеты уже в продаже, цены начинаются от 35 евро. Путешествие займёт от 6,5 до 7 часов. Поезд отправляется с Лионского вокзала в Париже, проходит через Савойю, Турин и прибывает в Милан — столицу моды и культуры. Этот маршрут также обслуживается TGV INOUI от SNCF, так что у пассажиров есть выбор.

Кроме того, с 15 июня 2025 года Trenitalia запускает новый маршрут Париж—Марсель. Четыре рейса в день будут отправляться с Лионского вокзала в Париже, доставляя пассажиров в Марсель примерно за 3 часа 20 минут. На этом направлении Frecciarossa составит прямую конкуренцию поездам TGV.
